Isaiah 5:19to those who say, “Let God hurry;
let him hasten his work so we may see it.
The plan of the Holy One of Israel—
let it approach, let it come into view, so we may know it.”
20 Woe to those who call evil good and good evil,
who put darkness for light
and light for darkness,
who put bitter for sweet
and sweet for bitter.
21 Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes and clever in their own sight.

It often seems that the entire weight of the sin of the world is rising like a tide shouting “Liar, liar, whenever the real truth is spoken or expressed in the life choices of those who follow Jesus. Christians are intimidated every moment of every waking hour by the sheer preponderance of the lies that are being told and accepted, or so it is thought, by the real liars in this instance. I point here to the obvious “mouthpieces” of the enemy, the entertainment industry, the so called wise people of academia, nd the scientific community. How on earth could we dare to hold an opposing view to any of these so-called spokespersons of the culture. I know, it seems a lot to sort out. But in the end of all things, sin is still sin and there is no getting around it. Holiness is costly. It requires everything of us given freely in allegiance to the only one who can save us from our sin. We need to pray every day that we do not fall into the trap of the devil that is llaid so cunningly. Each Christian has a weak spot where once given a foothold it is then exploited until the chasm in a once vibrant faith becomes so great it is dulled and muted into non-existence. Be on your Guard.
