Titus 2: 2 But as for you, teach what is consistent with sound doctrine. ² Tell the older men to be temperate, serious, prudent, and sound in faith, in love, and in endurance.

³ Likewise, tell the older women to be reverent in behavior, not to be slanderers or slaves to drink; they are to teach what is good,

I have noticed, sadly how bitter and discouraging many of my peers have become if indeed their social media presence is any indication of their state of mind. I am reminded of the Israelites as they journeyed through the wilderness complaining about nearly everything.(Exodus 17:3, Numbers 11:1, et al)

            We must never forget the great gain with which we have been blessed to have the yoke of oppressive sin removed from our necks. Christ went to the cross though He had no sin. He carried my sin, the crushing weight of my sin and died horribly on Calvary to pay my debt. What on earth do I have to complain about? Let us renew our faith. Let us lift our hands again in thankfulness for God’s amazing love.
