And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord . – Joshua 24:15 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Joshua24:15&version=AKJV

Walking away from Truth.

That there is an objective truth is a fact well known to those who love Jesus. There is also a cynical axiom that says; “Given a choice people will always vote in favor of their stomachs.”

With regard to the recent elections, it seems clear that there is a new socio-political axiom to be aware of. (In reality, it had always been there, but perhaps now it must needs be factored in whenever expectations are being formulated about which way politics will shift.) Simply stated; “People will follow their own chosen path of unrighteous behavior into every extreme.” God forgive us.
