Hebrews 10: 26 For if we go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27 but a terrifying expectation of judgment and the fury of a fire which will consume the adversaries.

These days I seem to tire very quickly with arrogant fools who will not take the time to consider the words plainly spoken to them through the Scriptures. I thought of this circumstance in the letter to the Hebrews which sates the matter quite plainly. The Jews who were oriented to the sacrifice were in danger of losing their status in Christ because they figured they could just keep on and not allow the Holy Spirit to bring about the change of heart God wants from His people.

I see it every day, I have appealed every Sunday from the platform of the Church for people to take hold of the promises of God. I tire of the blank unknowing, uncaring stares of unawakened zombies who neither know nor care that their self-centered lives are leading them to the consequences promised above.
