Jeremiah 33:2-3 (New American Standard Bible)“This is what the Lord says, He who made the earth, the Lord who formed it to create it, He whose name is the Lord: ‘Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’

It seems that every time I turn on the news I am hearing a report about some significant “scientific” breakthrough or other. Within the same report there is frequently some shame faced pundit backtracking on some other great “scientific” idea that somehow backfired. What is certain, whether your view of creation is long or short, that humankind does not know as much as it thinks it does. The word “incomprehensible” is a better sense of the words rendered above as …which you do not know”.

Everyday we are receiving new information about genetics, astronomy, and everything in between. There is much yet to discover. We must, however, learn to temper our pride and the egotistical, God denying fools who think that man is the measure of all things. We may have been given the book, but there is yet, I believe a whole library of knowledge that we will never understand until we stand in Heaven with the Lord Jesus, if even then.

Thank you, Lord, for such a glorious creation.
