Matthew 19:3-5 English Standard Version3 And Pharisees came up to him and tested him by asking, “Is it lawful to divorce one’s wife for any cause?” 4 He answered, “Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female, 5 and said, ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’?

Caption for the picture: “Well, Duh!” Something so obvious could only be confused by the master of confusion Satan himself. That a man should be cautious and a woman equally cautious to enter into the married state, or any other sort of situation, should be obvious. Despite generations of cultural conditioning to listen to the input from parents, friends and others it does not preclude or eliminate at all the necessity to look with open eyes before we make a leap into such a situation with all that can happen. Even then without consulting the Lord through fervent prayer it would seem that we have about as much control over ourselves as a man falling through space. He cannot control where he lands, and he cannot know or control whether he will survive the landing.
For women it is even worse. They often see themselves as little more than a commodity and an object to be used for someone’s pleasure. How sad that our perverted minds have called this freedom, and liberation.
In the midst of all the hysteria over the question of abortion (read child sacrifice vis Molech) I would propose a very simple solution. That we should as a people begin to value women more highly than we do and be willing to abstain from sexual intercourse outside of marriage and that marriage should be a well-considered and prayerful exercise on the part of all parties.
