John 2:23 Now while he was in Jerusalem at the Passover Festival, many people saw the signs he was performing and believed in his name. 24 But Jesus would not entrust himself to them, for he knew all people. 25 He did not need any testimony about mankind, for he knew what was in each person.
As we delve more deeply into the self- awareness of Jesus it is important to note that he was complete within Himself. He was neither divided nor compartmentalized. He lived as a man who had within Himself every attribute of His Father because they were one in Spirit.
We, however, struggle to keep ourselves together while holding many differing and often conflicting ideas, emotions and needs in a sort of dynamic tension that for many results in our psychological ruin. How then, do we ever hope to approach the perfection of the Christ personality? Very simply the essential “thing” is to offer up to Him everything. Then, as His Spirit fills us, we may begin to see the dead spaces in our “tree” begin to fill in with amazing life.
