Psalm 33:20 We wait in hope for the Lord;
    he is our help and our shield.
21 In him our hearts rejoice,
    for we trust in his holy name.
22 May your unfailing love be with us, Lord,
    even as we put our hope in you.

            If you read the whole hymn that we label Psalm 33 you will understand that God is the “total package”. He made everything, He sustains everything, He is the ground of our being, our beginning and end, and He is whom we hope for. As simple as that sounds, there is yet a time of testing, the enemy of God is abroad in the world and seeks to undo the work of God. We resist by remaining in constant contact with our Heavenly Father through the intercession of His risen Son. When you think about it this whole faith thing, this believing thing, this hope is not very complicated. It is a matter of trust. When you sit on a chair you trust that the chair will hold you up. When you turn on the tap you expect water, there is nothing more complicated than that in believing and trusting God.
