Psalm 103
Of David.
1 Praise the Lord, my soul;
all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
2 Praise the Lord, my soul,
and forget not all his benefits—
3 who forgives all your sins
and heals all your diseases,

I should probably explain that I am writing this after spending several hours battling the demons infesting my computer and my mind. My brain is awash with passwords, printer drivers, installations and support, e-mail addresses, the list goes on and on. In the midst of extreme frustration, I came to the place where I am writing just now. I typed in the word “forget” in my bible search engine and right in the middle of it all, (64 times in the NIV) I came upon this passage. As I read it a profound peace came over my soul and I was reminded of the powerful way in which Moses was introduced to the living God.
My question is this. Have you been introduced to the living God? I remember just now the passage from Isaiah 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Just think of the violent outbursts and rants that could be put in their proper place if we once decided to trust our living God.
