Daniel 7: 13 “In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence. 14 He was given authority, glory, and sovereign power; all nations and peoples of every language worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed.
One of the fellows I used to travel with was fond of pulling pranks in those moments before a gig or afterward or when we were resting up between sets or getting ready to travel on to the next venue. He would always get caught (I think by choice) and with an impish grin say, “How do you like me now*?”
The scripture above is a moment sot of like that. It is a statement to the world, to all of the arrogant conceited people who think they are powerful, but are really little more than “postage stamp potentates”.
God has brought kings and princes down to the dust from the very beginning. And so saying if we read the scriptures we have a foreshadowing of the times soon to come. When? Not my call. But soon I believe, very soon. “How do you like me now*”!
