Proverbs 4:3For I too was a son to my father,
    still tender, and cherished by my mother.
4 Then he taught me, and he said to me,
    “Take hold of my words with all your heart;
    keep my commands, and you will live.
5 Get wisdom, get understanding;
    do not forget my words or turn away from them.

            How important is it for a father to teach his children? How important is it for a wife and mother to encourage her husband to assume the role of teacher? The elements of great teaching are driven by love and enhanced with the Word of God faithfully delivered. It may seem at times a hopeless endeavor, but I sincerely believe in the “seeds planted” theology that says eventually…, well who knows but God. There is the crux if you will of faith. To believe in an outcome not yet seen, but to be assured that there will be a crop sooner or later if we remain faithful and hopeful.
