Micah 6:6 With what shall I come before the Lord
and bow down before the exalted God?
Shall I come before him with burnt offerings,
    with calves a year old?
Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of rams,
with ten thousand rivers of olive oil?
Shall I offer my firstborn for my transgression,
the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?
He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.
And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly with your God.

I did a search on my phone this morning as I was perusing the various news offerings and decided to try typing in “Christian news”. I expected the usual bizarre and uninformative twaddle from the various magazine and news agencies, but I was rather surprised to see how many performers and movie stars, politicians and robber baron CEOs were trying to inveigle their way into some sort of support or affirmation with their strange  and seemingly universal self – centered approach to “being Christian”.

From this frustrating exercise I gleaned two facts. 1.) Beware of grasping fools who will say anything to be as acceptable to as many people as possible. 2.) True persecution is ramping up all around the world and the push for tolerance and coexistence is one of the biggest frauds ever perpetrated by a world gone mad.
