Psalm 10:4 In his pride the wicked man does not seek him; in all his thoughts there is no room for God.

We all know somebody like this. We see the coming wrath of God, but they, for lack of a better word use the force of their personalities to intimidate us. Whenever we bring up the subject of their eternal destiny they come back with words that basically declare them to be a law unto themselves. How sad.

Don’t despair. God has ways of working on these “holdouts” to break down the walls of their pride. Sometimes it is the loss of someone, perhaps like yourself in their lives that causes them to re-think, reset, open their mind and heart to something beyond themselves.

Our service before God is to remain vigilant and prayerful, watching for those opportunities when the door might be opened just a little bit.
