Deuteronomy 9:26 26 I prayed to the Lord and said, “Sovereign Lord, do not destroy your people, your own inheritance that you redeemed by your great power and brought out of Egypt with a mighty hand.
Today I would like to offer special prayers for those Christian aid workers in Haiti who have been kidnapped and held for ransom since last weekend. There are at least 17 people being held one of them and eight month old baby. they’re mostly Amish and Mennonite people who work for an aid organization out of Ohio and are being held by a group of people who seem to be bent on holding them for ransom and threatening them with death if the ransom of one million dollars per person is not paid. The organization that sponsored them for this trip are expressing themselves in such a way that they are waiting on the Lord to show his hand in this circumstance I admire their courage I admire their willingness to trust. I pray that you would come alongside me and pray as well for the Swift Deliverance of these people and for justice to reach the people of Haiti in these times. It is a horrible circumstance where men women and children are considered as commodities to be bought and sold for security sake and for political leverage I pray that you would come alongside at this time and pray as well for a swift resolution to this issue thank you.
