Daniel 8:23 “In the latter part of their reign, when rebels have become completely wicked, a fierce-looking king, a master of intrigue, will arise. 24 He will become very strong, but not by his own power. He will cause astounding devastation and will succeed in whatever he does. He will destroy those who are mighty, the holy people. 25 He will cause deceit to prosper, and he will consider himself superior. When they feel secure, he will destroy many and take his stand against the Prince of princes. Yet he will be destroyed, but not by human power.

Once again, with a little bit of insight, and a great deal of hindsight it becomes clear what God’s intentions are, have been, and will be for this creation of His. It may seem like the demonic influences over our society may be in the seat of power and authority, and so for a time they may be. However, a day is coming, more than that, it is appointed, and will certainly come at just the right moment when that victory shall be realized and acknowledged by every soul on this earth. “Yet he shall be destroyed, but not by human power. This clearly is reflected in the saying found in Zechariah 4:6 “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts. Always be hopeful

I am always amazed at the internal consistency of the scriptures even though so many authors contributed to it’s completion.
