Book four available soon.

Matthew 4:  10 Then Jesus *said to him, “Go away, Satan! For it is written: ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only.’” 11 Then the devil *left Him; and behold, angels came and began to serve Him.

If you were to take the fourth chapter of Matthew and lay it alongside the fifth chapter you would see an amazing correlation to the temptations Jesus endured while in the wilderness and the beatitudes listed there. If you were to meditate upon this you would gain a deeper understanding of the degree to which Jesus knows and understands you and what you have been and likely are going through every day.

Hebrews 4:15 For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things just as we are, yet without sin. Every time I come across these kinds of affirmations in the scripture my faith deepens and I find hope and encouragement. I am also quite chagrinned that I had not the wit nor depth of spiritual understanding to have seen it before.
