11 What is faith? It is the confident assurance that something we want is going to happen. It is the certainty that what we hope for is waiting for us, even though we cannot see it up ahead. Men of God in days of old were famous for their faith.

By faith—by believing God—we know that the world and the stars—in fact, all things—were made at God’s command; and that they were all made from things that can’t be seen.TLB

More than something we want, it is the actual promise of Crist that our Father will complete the work He has begun in us and that we will not be disappointed at the end. Even the most faithful person can wander, can be skeptical at certain points along the Way, but in the end, the faith that has been birthed in us will be honored, fulfilled, and totally redeemed. So then, if you’ve stumbled, if you’ve fallen:

And if you should fall again, Get back up, get back up

Reach out and take His hand, Get back up, get back up,

Get back up again, get back up again- Kenny Greenberg | Matthew West
