Psalm 119:165 Great peace have those who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble.

In order to avoid the stumbling blocks of the enemies of faith in God it is necessary that we are aware every minute of the nature of the war we are in. We have peace because we do not have to stumble. We know that there are many ways to fall into the trap of the enemies of God, however we are also protected by the indwelling Spirit of God who, as long as we allow, leads us into all truth. Compromises big and small will arise at any hour of the day that is why we are advised to “pray continually”. (I Thessalonians 5:16-18).

James 4:7 Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Matthew 26:41 “Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

1 Corinthians 10:13: No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.
