Part 2 Psalm 44: 4 You are my King, O God;
Command] victories for Jacob.
5 Through You we will push back our adversaries;
Through Your name we will trample down those who rise up against us.
6 For I will not trust in my bow,
Nor will my sword save me.
7 But You have saved us from our adversaries,
And You have put to shame those who hate us.
8 In God we have boasted all day long,
And we will give thanks to Your name forever. ]Selah.
Some people have ben led to blindly trust in apocryphal stories about Jesus and the end times and have falsely believed that we will al pass through this life without troubles. All throughout twenty five years of pastoral ministry I have seen people come up against the realities of a rather false belief system believing in some sort of “put and take” religion seeing Jesus as some sort of “cosmic candy machine”.

Job 13:15 “Though He slay me, I will hope in Him. Nevertheless I will argue my ways before Him. I only pray that when that time truly comes for me I can live up to these powerful words of faith.
