It seems most of the time that the wicked and the upright struggle equally in this world. Both bear burdens, both may find help on the way Not speaking at all to the ones who choose to let life just roll by doing and achieving nothing, the cost of sin in the world has wrought a terrible price. Our choice, not God’s. Okay, what about satisfaction, pleasure, happiness? Our joy as Christians comes from knowing that what awaits us is not the oblivion of the grave, not the eternal condemnation fo consignment to the lake of fire. What awaits the Christian is the promise of complete fulfilment in the presence of the Son and the Father. Think about that for just a moment. Complete fulfillment. From here, that is unimaginable, but it is promised. Ephesians 3:17 And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
Lord I praise You because of who You are
And not because of all the mighty things You’ve done
Lord I worship You because of who You are
It’s all the reason that I need to voice my praise
Because of who You are
