Isaiah 33:5 The Lord is exalted, for he dwells on high;
he will fill Zion with his justice and righteousness.
6 He will be the sure foundation for your times,
a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge;
the fear of the Lord is the key to this treasure.
There is coming a day of justice and judgement for every human being who ever lived. What we have done with the life we have been given will be measured against the righteousness and holiness of God. If you reflect upon this truth and are shaken to the core of your being then there is still time to “cry out to Jesus” as the song made popular by the group Third Day says. If you read these words of mine you will find them like unto the words of hope written by the prophet Isaiah during a particularly dangerous and idolatrous time in old Israel.
Theis wonderful picture of a lion sky-lining in the photo above evokes in my mind a picture of “the lion of Judah”, that is Jesus coming to bring all things around to a joyous fulfillment of God’s promise.
