Revelation 19:11Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.
The United Nations building. Once touted as the hope of nations now revealed as the “palace of liars”. There is one hope for mankind, and He has a Name, it is Jesus. No assembly of men can dare to claim any hope except the hope of grace and forgiveness found only in Jesus the Christ of God. Faithful and true, what better name for the Savior of the world. The war that is surely coming will not be like anything you have ever imagined. There will be only one hero, there will be only one victor. His name is Jesus. All of your pretensions of righteousness will be called to account.
We have made truth a byword in this “modern” age. We lie subtly and overtly at every turn. We say it is “diplomatic” to be less than truthful, but we walk away from almost every encounter knowing that we do not believe the things we have just said to one another. Perhaps the most difficult thing we can ever learn to do is to be in relationship with one another allowing God’s Holy Spirit to direct our speech and interactions in such a way as to accomplish His purposes rather than our own.
