I’ve just had one of those more frustrating experiences of this “enlightened” age. Trying to communicate with a faceless corporate entity whose use of obscure speech, accomplished through a combination of heavily accented remote employees and the extremely poor reception of telephone service in any place other than an urban environment is largely a waste of time. Having a tantrum on the phone is not in the least productive, and depending on the person you end up trying to talk to even diplomatically restrained conversation is most likely to be misunderstood at best. “Can you hear me now?”
How I rejoice in the fact that when it comes to speaking with my heavenly Father, I know that I am heard and understood, and that I have received the gift of His Holy Spirit to help me to comprehend fully just exactly how He is responding to me.
