The wisdom of ears part 5
There is a distinct link between the presence, or indwelling, of the Holy Spirit and the ability to hear and comprehend the message of the love of God. Surely you have had the experience of loving someone deeply and having that love spurned or ignored. So it is with our heavenly Father. When Jesus romised the disciples that the “comforter” would come he assured them that whatever fears, doubts, or shame they might have felt would be overcome by the revelation of truth and holiness to their souls by this Holy Spirt.
I believe that if you are reading this today that you were led to this place by the Spirit of God and that he is beginning to speak to your heart so that you might know Him and so escape the “second death”. If after counting the cost of such a relationship you have confidence and trust in the truth you understand then simply ask, invite the Lord Jesus to come into your heart.
