Psalm 90:7For we have been consumed by Your anger,
And by Your wrath we are terrified.
You have set our iniquities before You,
Our secret sins in the light of Your countenance.

This psalm attributed to Moses might well have been said of Israel at any number of places during their history, especially during their exile. For you and I these verses are cautionary at the least. There is nothing that can be hidden from God.

What “secret sins” have plagued and haunted you down through the years? I am reminded that it is the work of the Holy Spirit to “convict” or convince of sin, however it is for the church in it’s many forms to provide for the sinner a place and a way to come to confession and be cleansed from those sins. Whether it is through one on one prayer, or even an altar call in a worship service we must “make the most of every opportunity”. (Colossians 4:5)

You are not flying alone in this effort. Whether you are a sinner in need of, and seeking grace, or if you are a “serving” Christian we are obligated to one another by the blood of the Savior
