Finding God in the Mysteries of every day

Psalm 27 ¹³ I remain confident of this:
    I will see the goodness of the Lord
    in the land of the living.
¹⁴ Wait for the Lord;
    be strong and take heart
    and wait for the Lord.

            Did you ever hear the phrase; “The anticipation is killing me”? Sometimes I have felt that way living as a Christian in this world. When I am no distracted by the constant self – evaluation that seems to characterize Christian life I frequently become impatient wondering when Jesus will return.  I have heard from day one of my journey in Christ that “we are definitely in the end times”. For all of the so called “wise ones” here is a message and comment from me.

            We have been living in the end times since Jesus ascended into heaven and the Holy Spirit came upon the earth. Every thing Jesus said about His return has been coming to pass in every generation. While we may see bad times right now we seem to have the uncanny ability to completely forget about the long span of history and the horrors that man has visited upon man through the centuries.

            My advice: Stop maundering on about the end times, live in the present in full obedience to Jesus by doing what I call the big 6 they are:

1. Pray
2. Love God
3. Love one another
4. Love yourself
5. Be in unity
6. Make Disciples

And in all of that find your joy and hope fulfilled.
